It’s the start of a new year and a new decade and we want to take a moment to thank you for your faithfulness to union membership. In fact, the last week of January (the 27th thru the 31st) is AFSCME Strong week where we will focus on reinforcing our connections to one another and our local. You can expect to get more information about the benefits of union membership, updated bulletin boards, opportunities to celebrate the great work being done by our members and much more. We will be shining an AFSCME spotlight on co-workers you nominate as people who make you happy to work here. Those selected will get a prize and we’ll share with everyone the great things you had to say about them.
How you can help:

- Nominate a co-worker for an AFSCME spotlight:
- Must be a member of Local 2067 who is not an officer or steward of the local.
- Email strong@afscme2067.org with the person’s name, where they work, and a few sentences about why you thing the person makes Salem a great place to work.
- Help distribute materials during AFSCME Strong week. If you have 10 or 15 minutes to help that week, email strong@afscme2067.org with your name and contact information.
- Watch your email box every day starting January 27th to learn more about your fellow members and get opportunities to earn prizes.
